New Company Founded




A new Automanufacturer named Sonville has been founded. This new company enters a growing market for vehicles. When asked what separates Sonville from other manufacturers New CEO Jack said, "Sonville will fix what is broken with other manufacturers, keep what is good, and end up as one of the greatest companies in the world. Other companies can only dream at our magnificent products we will bring." The new company's first task will be design a vehicle or figure out some other way to bring in revenue in this exciting industry.

House Fire Outside of Town


About five o'clock Sunday morning, a tenant house was burned on the farm of Mr. Walter Sawyer on the outskirts of the town. The night patrol seeing the fire and brightly lighted sky, at first thought the fire was in town, and the ringing of fire bells aroused many. No one was hurt in the fire, but the house is a total loss.

REAL ESTATE TAXES DROP


Marked Rise in Assessed Valuations on Big Buildings All Over City.


The tax rates of the Board of Taxes and Assessments were opened today for public inspection of the assessed valuations. The assessed valuations for the city have been increased several billion over last year. Jacob A. Cantor, President of the Board, announced a decrease tax rate of $0.00874/Mill for the current year.

Policeman Resigns To Enter Business


Patrolman Charles Sexton has handed in his resignation to the Lower Merion Township commissioners to go into business. He offered a furlough for a year, but the commissioners refused. Sexton is going to open a shop for repairing fenders and painting automobiles.
